Thelma Franklin (Bullington) Taylor

​Thelma Franklin Taylor, 92, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her residence.  The McEwen, TN native was a homemaker and member of Foundation Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late John K Bullington and Hallie Marie Rice Bullington Jones and wife of the late Rev. Willie C. Taylor. 

​She is survived by 3 sons:  Donald Franklin and wife, Mary; Dennis Franklin and John Franklin and wife, Teresa, all of Louisville, KY; 

​3 daughters:  Nelda Duke and husband, R.C. and Debbie Meador and husband, Steve, all of Scottsville, KY and Nancy Scott, Bowling Green, KY; 

12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; 

​Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

​She was preceded in death by 1 brother:  Rev. J. C. Bullington and 3 sisters:  Mary Lou Elmore Smith, Marjorie Rice and Helen Letchner; a daughter-in-law:  Denise Franklin; a son-in-law:  Jim Scott. 

​Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Emery and Bro. Russel Carter officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.   Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Foundation Baptist Church Building Fund or Hosparus Health of Bowling Green.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
