Sister Kathleen Hunt Sikes, 86, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Stokely-VanCamp and Petroleum Sewing Factory, co-founder and pastor of Full Gospel House of Prayer. She was a daughter of the late Porter Lee Hunt and Dollie Tinsley Hunt and wife of the late Wallace D. Sikes.
She is survived 1 son: Gary Michael Sikes and wife, Ruthann, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Wanda Romans and husband, Duane, Bowling Green, KY; Tina Garmon and husband, Chad, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister-in-law: Florene Johnson, Scottsville, KY;
5 grandchildren: Brian Graves; Steve Graves and wife, Carrie; Zack Sikes and wife, Heather; Beverly Douglas and husband, David; Makayla Carter and husband, Michael;
6 great grandchildren: Carter Douglas, Kinlee Sikes, J. T. Graves, Alyssa Graves, Steven Graves and Austin Graves;
1 step grandson: Dustin Garmon;
1 step great grandson: Caleb Underwood.
She was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter: Macy Garmon; 1 great grandson: Zane Sikes; 3 sisters: Marie Kinslow, Mildred Witcher and Sue Cherry; 2 brothers: James Hunt and Roy Hunt.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Boyd, Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Ronnie Means officiating and burial in Durham Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
