Robert Wilford Qualls, 93, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of L & N Railroad, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, past President of Woodmen of the World Scottsville Lodge, Brotherhood of Railroad Signalman and member of Red Hill General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late John Moton Qualls and Lillie Francis Thornton Qualls and husband of the late Betty June Tincher Qualls.
He is survived by 1 son: Steve Qualls (Sherry Roberts), Bowling Green, KY;
1 daughter: Deborah Skipworth (Morris), Scottsville, KY;
4 grandchildren: Melissa Shipley (John); John Qualls; Mitchell Skipworth (Carnetta) and Shannon Skipworth;
4 great grandchildren: Abby Shipley, Isaac Shipley, Tristan Skipworth and Adalyn Skipworth;
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Lynn Herrington and Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens with military honors by Glasgow D.A.V. Chapter 20. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
