Obituary

Phyllis Witt Bridges, 70, of Summer Shade, KY passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at her residence.  The Scottsville, KY native was homemaker, former co-owner and operator of In Zone in Indianapolis, IN and member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Aubrey Wilson "Dick" Witt and Dorothy Priscilla Buchanan Witt and wife of the late George Eagle Bridges. 

 

She is survived by 3 sons:  John T. Arens (Tammy), Summer Shade, KY; Richard L. Arens and wife, Tammie K., Lebanon, IN and Gregory D. Reagan and wife, Sandy, Evansville, IN; 

3 brothers:  Joe Witt and wife, Debbie, and Jeff Witt, all of Scottsville, KY; Dwight Witt, Martinsville, IN; 

4 sisters:  Ann Deal, Greenwood, IN; Janie Davis, Peoria, AZ, Jackie Headlee, Indianapolis, IN and Lisa Guerrero, Center, KY; 

8 grandchildren:  Joshua, Caleb, Jessica, Justin and Jacob Arens; Jhaqueil, Cole and Jazzlynn Reagan; 

2 great grandchildren:  Eli and Jhasia Reagan. 

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Mike Witt and Charles Witt. 

 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry O'Neal officiating and burial in New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.   Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to New Bethel Cemetery Fund.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
