Patsy Turk, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, a retired employee of General Electric and A.O. Smith, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, a member of White Plains Baptist Church and loved quilting, flowers, square dancing and spending time with her family. She was a daughter of the late Hayden "Bud" Wood and Maria Dawn Lewis Wood and wife of the late Frank Joseph Turk.
She is survived by 1 son: Larry A. Turk and wife, Kathy, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Donna C. Turk (Kelley Quackenbush); Clarissa A. Ray (Ricky Martin), all of Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Willie Jewell Wood, Indianapolis, IN;
1 sister: Stella Mae Elmore, Scottsville, KY;
3 grandchildren: Larry Joseph Turk; Damon Paul Turk (Jessica) and Tyler Lane Ray;
3 great grandchildren: Analeigh, Finley and Ella and several nieces and nephews;
Special caregivers: Myra Johnson and Angela Keen.
She was preceded in death by 5 brothers: Hayden Stokley Wood, Cecil Howard Wood, Lee Allen Wood, Rondil David Wood and Victor Ray Wood and 1 sister: Polly Christine Land.
Funeral services will be 3:30 P.M Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Dr. Phil Rogers officiating and burial in Cedar Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 7:00 A.M. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
