Novice (Goodrum) Keen

Novice Keen, 93, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019.  The Adolphus, KY native was a former housekeeper and waitress for various local restaurants, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, an Avon representative for 30 years, retired employee of Allen County War Memorial Hospital and member of New Buck Creek United Methodist Church.  She was the daughter of the late Claude Goodrum and Cammie Gertrude Watkins Goodrum and wife of the late Cordell Franklin Keen. 

She is survived by 2 sons:  Ronnie Keen and wife, Sue, and Donnie Keen and wife, Leta, all of Scottsville, KY; 

2 daughters:  Jan Miller and Teresa Sheryl Martin and husband, Denny, all of Scottsville, KY; 

8 grandchildren:  Sean Dinkins, Courtney Garmon (Wesley), Josh Miller, Le Anne West, Dwight Keen, Mark Keen, Chad Keen (Nicki) and Rhonda Bray (Shea); 

18 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter:  Sharon Keen Smith and 1 brother:  Murl Goodrum. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Curtis Johnson officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. until funeral time Sunday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
