Linda Calvert Carver, 63, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. The Bowling Green, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Scottsville Manor, Cornerstone, Washington Overall Manufacturing and Federal Mogul and member of Old Liberty General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late John Isaac Calvert and Selma Francis Madden Calvert.
She is survived by her husband: Stanley Paul Carver, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Crystal Green and husband, Rocky, Adolphus, KY and Melissa Thompson and husband, Murl, Scottsville, KY;
3 sisters: Helen Johnson, Faye Hensley and Vikki Carver, all of Scottsville, KY;
6 grandchildren: Keven Bonds (Brooklyn), Sarah Thompson, Lindsay Thompson, Taylor Johnson, Michael Neal and Brandon Green (Linda);
3 great grandchildren: Jayce Thompson, Braydon Bonds and Briley Summers;
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister: Polly Ray; 2 brothers: Jr. Calvert and Jessie Clay Calvert; 2 brothers-in-law: Jim Hensley and Richie Carter.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Calvert and Bro. Russell Mills officiating and burial in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.
