June Louise (Walters) Burnett

​June Louise Burnett, 91, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  She was born February 26, 1926 in Louisville, KY the daughter of the late Frank Walters and Anna Owsiany Walters.   June was a faithful witness of Jehovah for 77 years and was baptized on March 3, 1939.  She loved sharing her faith with others and conducted Bible studies with many.  She also loved Jehovah's creations, especially flowers and birds.  

​She is survived by her husband of 77 years:  Louie David Burnett, Halfway, KY; 

1 daughter:  Diane June Kelley; 

2 sons:  David Richard Burnett and Steven Keith Burnett; 

1 sister:  Mary Lee Stalcup;

4 grandchildren:  Deborah Cardenas, Jason Burnett, Candace Hernandez and Ann Burnett; 

7 great grandchildren. 

​She was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Frank Walters, Jr. and Morris Walters, both of Louisville, KY. 

​Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses  with Art Kornibe, Jr. officiating.  Visitation will be at the church after 12:30 p.m. Saturday until funeral time.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.  www.jw.org
