John L. Sullivan

John L. Sullivan, 73, of Bethpage, TN passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at his residence.  The Adolphus, KY native was a U.S. Marine veteran who served in Viet Nam.  He was a son of the late Lonzo Wilson Sullivan and Sallie Effie Chandler Sullivan.

He is survived by his common law wife of 30 years: Betty J. Tucker, Bethpage, TN;

2 sons: Lance Sullivan, Scottsville, KY and Shane Sullivan, Bowling Green, KY;

4 daughters: Machell Testerman and Rachel Sullivan, both of Bowling Green, KY; Karen Randolph and husband, Mike, Franklin, KY and Jane Sullivan Reid, Scottsville, KY; 

3 brothers: Paul Sullivan and wife, Frances; Billy Sullivan and wife, Virginia, all of Adolphus, KY; Roy Sullivan, Scottsville, KY;

13 grandchildren: Amber Borden, Aaron Borden, Chris Taylor, Ryan Randolph, Hannah Randolph, Lauren Newman, Makayla Sullivan, Miranda Sullivan, Jaylin Sullivan, Caiden Sullivan, McKensley Sullivan, Kiana Sullivan and Jayden Sullivan;

2 great grandchildren: Ava Hayes and Jack Hayes;

Special niece: Janie Wilson and husband, Michael, Bethpage, TN;

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Sullivan and Bro. Kenny Sullivan officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time.
