Joan (Watson) Costello

Joan Costello, 85, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Louisville, KY native was a homemaker,  retired employee of The Decorating Centre,  former interior decorator and bookkeeper, member of White Plains Baptist Church and former member of Scottsville Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Alma George Watson and Elsie Marie Nash Watson.

She is survived by her husband: Jack Costello, Scottsville, KY;

1 son: Allen Leisten, WY;

2 daughters: Donna Leisten (Perez) and Marie Leisten (Wagner, Berryman), both of Louisville, KY;

2 step sons: Tim Costello and wife, Paula, Scottsville, KY and Jay Leisten, Louisville, KY;

1 step daughter:  Karen Lee, Bowling Green, KY; 

10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband: James Girard Leisten and a sister, Lois Watson Fow.

Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Cedar Cross Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:30 P.M to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and after 8:00 A.M. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
