Jimmy P. Napier

Jimmy P. Napier, 78, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Akersville, KY native was a retired employee of General Electric and A. O. Smith, a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and former member and Past Master of Graham Lodge #208 F & AM.  He was a son of the late Joseph E. Napier and Ina Louise Powell Napier. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years:  Shirley Shipley Napier, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Lisa Pat Bryant and husband, Bart, Scottsville, KY; 

2 brothers:  Billy Napier and wife, Wilma, Palestine, IN and James Harold Napier, Lafayette, TN; 

2 sisters:  Mildred Napier Kringle, Nashville, TN and Wilma Napier White and husband, Wert Lee, IL;

A beloved brother-in-law:  Bennie Ray Shipley, Nashville, TN;

2 grandsons:  Kyle Bryant, Bowling Green, KY and Kane Bryant, Japan; 

3 great grandchildren:  Kenna Bryant, Conor Bryant and Hallie Bryant. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
