James Thomas Bransford, 90, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at his residence. The Lafayette, TN native was a retired employee of North Central Telephone Cooperative and a former officer for Scottsville Police Department. He was a son of the late Ezra Warner Bransford and Alma Grace Huffine Bransford and husband of the late Loretta Jewell Cornwell Bransford.
He is survived by 3 sons: Jack Douglas Bransford and wife, Lee Ann, Adolphus, KY; Todd Douglas Bransford and wife, Julie and Brent Douglas Bransford, all of Scottsville, KY;
6 grandchildren: Aleigha Scott (Jacob); Emily Williams (Cody); Kacey Collins (Jon); Hunter Bransford, Mary Bransford (Chris Walker); Carson Stinson (Chris);
12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Rudolph Bransford; 4 sisters: Margie Law, Ann Butrum, Jean Oldham and Hazel Bransford.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time.
