Jack "Honest Jack" Dennis, 90, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at his residence. The Central City, KY native was a retired electrician, former owner and operator of Dennis' Market in Central City, a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of Gloryland Gospel Church and loved fishing and square dancing. He was a son of the late Oakley Jack Dennis and Elizabeth Laura Chenault Dennis.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann Dennis, Scottsville, KY;
2 sons: Jeffery Len Dennis and wife, Brennan, Bowling Green, KY and David Christopher Dennis and wife, Teresa, Fountain Run, KY;
2 daughters: Sheila Gaye Barbella and husband, Dale, St. Petersburg, FL and Ann Elizabeth Langman and husband, Travis, Stony Point Community;
2 step sons: Jon Baxter, Evansville, IN and Samuel Baxter, Central City, KY;
1 step daughter: Mary Pat Bruce and husband, Tommy, Central City, KY;
14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Johnny Mike Dennis and 1 brother: Billy Dennis.
Funeral services for Jack "Honest Jack" Dennis will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Calvert officiating. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
