Fritz Adler, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Bahlingen, Germany native was a retired employee of General Electric, former employee of Keen Tool & Die, former owner and operator of Adler's Machine Shop, an avid bowler and golfer, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of a Lutheran Church in Germany. He loved to deliver tools, drinks, tomatoes and other things for the Mennonites. He was a son of the late Gustav Adolf Adler and Emilie Boos Adler.
He is survived by his wife: Ann Strode Adler, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Jim Adler, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Debbie Walden and husband, James, and Diane Cole and husband, Neal, all of Scottsville, KY;
5 grandchildren: Christopher Walden and wife, Lindsay; Wesley Walden and wife, Danielle; Jared Walden; Shelby Cole and Spencer Cole;
2 great grandchildren: Violet Walden and Lucy Walden.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Herrington officiating and burial in Cedar Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 7:00 A.M. Thursday until funeral time. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude's or the charity of your choice.
