Dorothy Mae Anderson, 92, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her residence. The Louisville, KY native was a homemaker, retired nurses aide and Baptist. She was a daughter of the late Melvin Foster and Eunice Johnson Foster and wife of the late George "Buck" Anderson, Jr.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Rachel Elaine Sandlin, Bowling Green, KY;
1 son: George Michael Anderson, Indianapolis, IN;
3 brothers: Russell Gene Foster, Charleston, IN; Paul N. Foster, IN; David S. Foster, Louisville, KY;
1 sister: Genevia Louise Mc Cue, Lafayette, TN;
4 grandchildren: Sharonald McGinnis, Rachel Boltinghouse, Donnie Anderson and Jennifer Anderson;
11 great grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Jack K. Foster, Carlye Foster, Rodney A. Foster and Roy T. Foster; 3 sisters: Wanda Lee Garcia, Anna Rhae McCarty and Merilyne Sue Franklin; and 1 grandson: Clayton Sandlin.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Union United Methodist Church with Bro. Chuck Pruitt officiating and burial in Mt. Union Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Union United Methodist Church.
