Donald Ray Payne

Donald Ray Payne, 61, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green.  The Franklin, KY native was a farmer and son of the late Arys Andrew Payne and Allie Irene Richardson Payne. 

He is survived by his wife:  Carol Payne, Scottsville, KY; 

​2 sons:  Donald Scott Payne and Anthony Ray "Tony" Payne (Myranda Ward), all of Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Sharon Payne (Sam Williams), Scottsville, KY; 

​6 brothers:  Andy Payne (Cathy Neighbors) and Jimmy Payne (Peggy), all of Bowling Green, KY; Larry Payne (Sabrina), Scottsville, KY; Greg Payne (Elaine), Oakland, KY; Tommy Payne (Judy), Brownsville, KY and Jeff Payne (Jennifer), Hardyville, KY; 

​4 sisters:  Faye Abbott, Franklin, KY; Cathy Payne; Vicki Rodriguez (Josh) and Rosemary Payne (Bill Tardy), all of Bowling Green, KY;

​8 grandchildren:  Jayln Payne, Kaylee Williams, LeeAndre Williams, Kaitlynn Pridy, Blaine Payne, Sierra Payne, Abby Payne and Aiden Payne; 

1 great grandchild:  Phoenix Shannon. 

​Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery.   Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
