Dixie Carol (Halen) Gifford

Dixie Carol Gifford, 80, of Glasgow, KY passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow.  The Kittery, Maine native was a homemaker, former employee of Hallmark and a Methodist.  She was a daughter of the late Howard Thomas Halen and Irma Jessamine Wyman Halen and wife of the late Reldon Nauman Gifford. 

She is survived by 2 sons:  Reldon Lee Gifford, CA and William Halen Gifford and wife, Janet, IN; 

2 daughters:  Candace Forsythe, Bonnieville, KY and Kathleen Warren and husband, Dean, CA; 

2 brothers:  Howard Thomas Halen, Jr., CA and Chet Halen, NY;

3 sisters:  Vickie Dickerson, NY; Becky Lessack, IL; Jodi Halen, FL; 

11 grandchildren:  Joe, Casey, Cara, Andrew, Holly, James, Thomas, Jesse, Amy, Halen and Mac; 

4 great grandchildren:  Breanna, Amelia, Rocky and Logan. 

There will be no visitation or funeral service.  Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
