Dennis Glynn Stinson

Dennis Glynn Stinson, 62, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Medical Center Health in Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Walker Oil Company and a Pentecostal.  He was a son of the late Johnny William Dixon Stinson and Lena Ester Ford Stinson.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Stinson, Scottsville, KY;

1 son: Anthony Stinson, Scottsville, KY;

2 brothers: James Johnson, Lebanon, TN and Delford Johnson and wife, Wanda, Scottsville, KY;

2 sisters: Faye Vaughn and husband, Daskel and Glenda Weaver and husband, Dewey, all of Scottsville, KY;

3 grandchildren: Lucas Stinson (Cassandra); Breanna Ferguson (Jimmy) and Haley Meadors (Jeromy);

He was preceded in death by 1 son: Chad Guffey; 1 daughter: Dorinda Jean Stinson; 3 brothers: Haskel, Kenneth and Doyle Stinson and 4 sisters: Amy Blankenship, Arnell Brown, Joyce Stinson and Doris Lonas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Scottsville Church of Christ with Bro. Lonnie Johnson officiating. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Monday at Scottsville Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
