Christine (Howell) Henson

Christine Howell Henson, 99, of the Boyce Community passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green.  The Trammel, KY native was a  retired homemaker and farmer, member of Beech Grove General Baptist Church where she was a former pianist, organist and Sunday School teacher and Beech Grove Ladies Auxiliary and former DAV Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a daughter of the late Henry Mitchell Howell and Dye Demmer Pearson Howell and wife of the late Riley Raleigh Henson. 

She is survived by 1 son:  Randall L. Henson and wife, Daphna, Alvaton, KY; 

1 daughter:  Rita Henson Pearson, Alvaton, KY; 

4 grandchildren:  Marlee Henson Boenig (Ray); Ralna Henson Saxton (Michael); Brandon Pearson (Jessica) and Christi Pearson Williams (Wayne);

9 great grandchildren:  Riley Saxton; Caitlyn Head (Mike); Meaghan Boenig; Madilynn Wheeler-Sawyer; Mackenzee Morris; Makynnon Pearson; Makasyn Pearson; Levi Williams and Kenny Williams; 

 2 great great grandchildren:  Leland Head and Easton Head. 

She was preceded in death by 1 son-in-law:  Billy Joe Pearson and 1 sister:  Mayme Howell Henson. 

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Beech Grove General Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Pardue and Rev. Leroy Henson officiating and burial in Beech Grove Cemetery with Elder Mitchell Glasscock officiating.  Visitation will be 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.  Visitation will then be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Beech Grove General Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Beech Grove Cemetery Fund.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
