Calvin Payne

Calvin Payne, 78, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at Tri-Star Horizon Hospital in Dickson, TN.  The Scottsville, KY native was a U.S. Army veteran and the son of the late James Utah Payne and Bertie Darcus Patrick Payne. 

He is survived by 2 sisters:  Eva Jewell Stinson, Scottsville, KY and Lela Viola Colson, Indianapolis, IN; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Raymond Payne and Harold Payne and 4 sisters:  Vinnie Jenkins, Velma Slayton, Delma Lee Payne and Beulah Parham. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 2 Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 7:00 a.m. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
