Bro. Bill Kinslow, 92, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a Church of God minister for over 60 years and was currently serving as Kentucky State Overseer and Bishop, a farmer, owner and operator of Kinslow Logging, a WW II U.S. Army veteran and pastor of Samson Street Church of God. He was a son of the late William Bradford Kinslow and Della Lee Ausbrooks Kinslow and husband of the late Marie Hunt Kinslow.
He is survived by 3 sons: Bro. Roger Kinslow and wife, Sandra; Billy Kinslow and wife, Brenda, and Allen Kinslow, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Phyllis Vincent and husband, Jimmy "Pappy," Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Dollie Keith, Scottsville, KY;
8 grandchildren: Shelly King, Jeff Kinslow, Stephanie Kinslow, Dustin Whitney, Lana Huff, Haley Kinslow, Billy Wayne Kinslow and Mark Kinslow;
24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 2 unborn great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews;
He was preceded in death by 1 grandson: Kelly Hogan; 3 brothers: Morgan Kinslow, Elam Kinslow and David Kinslow; 1 sister: Lois Green and 4 infant siblings.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Brice Utt, Bro. Wayne Brown and Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow D.A.V. Chapter 20. Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday, 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday and 7:00 A.M. until funeral time Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
