Bobby Neil "Joe" Howell

Bobby Neil "Joe" Howell, 80, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at his residence.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Allen County Road Department, former building contractor and former employee of Holley Carburetor.  He was a son of the late Presley D. Howell and Sadie Louise Ballard Howell.

He is survived by his wife: Wilma Howell, Scottsville, KY;

4 sons: Richard Howell and Jamie Howell, both of Scottsville, KY; Jody Howell and wife, Sharon, Lafayette, TN and Jeff Martin and wife, Penny, Franklin, KY;

2 daughters: Shari Rippy and husband, Robert and Lisa Herrington and husband, Mike, all of Scottsville, KY;

4 brothers: Junior Howell and wife, Kay, Franklin, KY; Ralph Howell; Martin Howell and wife, Connie and David Howell, all of Scottsville, KY;

2 sisters: Sybil Uhls and husband, Bob, Franklin, KY; Nada Weidauer and husband, Tony, Scottsville, KY;

1 sister-in-law: Alicia Howell, Scottsville, KY;

12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews;

He was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Kimberly Joyce Taylor; 2 grandsons: Stevie Joe Taylor and Billy Martin; 3 sisters: Shirley Paschal, Barbara Wingfield and Norma Jean Reynolds;

2 brothers: Murl D. Howell and Troy Howell.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Holland and Bro. Danny Howell officiating and burial in Beech Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
