Betty (Law) Wade

​Betty Law Wade, 76, of the Midway Community passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired teacher having taught in Allen, Jefferson and Warren counties and received her Bachelor of Science, Masters and Rank I from Western Kentucky University.  She was a member of Smyrna Church, Mt. Union UMW, Crossroads Bible Study, the Gideons Auxilliary and Kentucky Retired Teacher's Association.  She was a daughter of the late Herbert "Hub" Law and Odean Napier Law. 

​She is survived by her husband:  Charles B. Wade, Midway Community; 

​1 daughter:  Jerri Lee Parker, Midway Community; 

​1 brother:  Brownie Dean Law and wife, Mary Louise, Louisville, KY; 

1 sister:  Shirley Fleming, Scottsville, KY; 

3 grandchildren:  Kyle Wade Parker and wife, Shianne; Jacob Kayden Parker and Brandon Lee Lloyd; 

1 great granddaughter:  Lennon Novella Parker. 

​She was preceded in death by a granddaughter:  Jami Lee Roppel;  1 sister:  Virginia Garmon; 1 brother:  Harry Willard Law; 2 brothers-in-law:  Bro. Ralph Garmon and John Fleming. 

​Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Larry Harrison officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery with Bro. Keith Patrick officiating.  Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideons International, SIDS Foundation or Galilean Home.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
