Barbara (Weaver) Disman

Barbara Disman, 87, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and life long member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Orey Carl Weaver and Mary Steenbergen Weaver and wife of the late A.B. Disman.

She is survived by 1 son: Jim Disman and wife, Dana, Scottsville, KY;

4 daughters: Nina Barron and husband, Danny; Diane Hunter; Darlene Yates and husband, Ricky; Lisa Calvert and husband, Wayne, all of Scottsville, KY;

11 grandchildren: Christopher Disman; Eric Hurt (Gerrie); Brian Hurt (Stacey); Matthew Stratton; Christy Perry (Dustin); Seth Calvert; Catie Yates (Eli); Lukas Yates; Jay Disman; Chelsey Whittaker (Colby); Mark Hunter (Katherine);

6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews;

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Lorene Fowler Ferguson and Eula Mae Weaver; 4 brothers: Aubrey Weaver, Buddy Weaver, twin brothers: Caralos and Carlos Weaver and 2 infant children; 1 sister-in-law: Marie Weaver.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Holland and Bro. Robby Calvert officiating and burial in Hopewell Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home.
