Ballard Hogan, 102, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at his residence. The Edmonson County, KY native was a farmer, retired employee of General Electric and former delivery man for Pet Milk Company, a member of Scottsville Church of Christ where he served as Deacon and former song leader. He was a son of the late Lonnie Hogan and Edna Bynum Hogan and husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Wingfield Hogan.
He is survived by 2 sons: Marrell Wayne Hogan and wife, Linda and Rayburn Neal Hogan, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Buford "Chic" Hogan, Chalybeate, KY;
2 sisters: Thelma Blanton and Dorothy Conner, both of Chalybeate, KY;
5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Marvis Richard Hogan; 1 daughter-in-law: Kathy Hogan; 1 grandson: Kelly Wayne Hogan and 2 brothers: Edward Hogan and Lloyd Hogan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mitchell Covington and Bro. Randy Wells officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 7:00 A.M. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.
