Ruben Eugene "Bootie" Mesker

Ruben Eugene "Bootie" Mesker, 69, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a carpenter and a son of the late Ruben Dell Mesker and Mary Irene Oldham Mesker. 

He is survived by 3 sons:  Kenneth Dale Mesker (Amanda), Smiths Grove, KY; Jason Eugene Taylor (Bianca) and Scottie Dale Mesker (Heather), all of Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter:  Melissa Shockley (Jesse), Scottsville, KY; 

1 brother:  Marvin Mesker (Linda), Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Debbie Mandrell, Scottsville, KY; 

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by a son:  Travis Mesker, a daughter:  Michelle Stinson and several brothers and sisters. 

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Laura Turner Chapel with Bro. Kenny Hanner officiating.  Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.   Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
