Rowlanda Jane (Cox) Berendt

Rowlanda Jane Berendt, 69, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, Mar 17, 2024 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Pontiac, MI native was a homemaker and retired employee of Wal-Mart in Russellville, KY.  She was a daughter of the late Robert Thomas Cox, Sr. and Esther Jane Filby Gregory and wife of the late Roger Dale Berendt. 

She is survived by 3 sons:  Patrick Cox and wife, Julie, Clarkston, MI; Jeremy Cox, MI and John Cox, TX; 

2 daughters:  Candi Mullins and husband, Ronnie, KY and Brandy Cox, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Rebecca Wainwright and husband, Michael, Pontiac, MI; 

15 grandchildren:  Nicholas Hunnicutt, Jordan Fellows, Andre Wright, Ariana Wright, Dylan Mullins, Brandon Mullins, Courtney Fellows, Kimberley Matthews, Gage Fellows, Azaria Cox, Adia Cox, Justin Baird, Korey Baird, Grant Baird and Jordan Stepp; 

7 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by a grandson:  Justin Cox. 

There will be no visitation or funeral service.  Cremation was chosen, and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
