Helen Sue Sullivan, 62, of Scottsville died at 9:10 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at her residence.  The Adolphus, KY native was a homemaker and member of East End General Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Paul Anderson and Helen Lorene Stinson Anderson and wife of the late Clifton Leonard Sullivan.

 

She is survived by 1 son:  Michael Sullivan, Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter:  Candy Bond, Scottsville, KY;

1 son-in-law:  Bobby Harrison, Scottsville, KY;

5 brothers:  J. C. Anderson and wife, Kathy, Brownsville, KY; Jimmy Anderson and wife, Donna; Mickey Anderson and Ronnie Anderson, all of Scottsville, KY; Ricky Joe Anderson, Westmoreland, TN;

5 sisters:  Karen Carver and husband, David; Lisa Martin and husband, Roger; Kathy Anderson and Leslie Anderson, all of Scottsville, KY; Patty Blok and husband, Fritz, Bowling Green, KY;

7 grandchildren:  Lakien Carter, Shea Green, Krysten Bond, Kayla Sullivan, Lucas Harrison, Robert Bond and Bryson Harrison; 1 great grandson:  Landan Green and 1 unborn great grandson:  Logan Green;

A special friend:  Judy Woods, Scottsville, KY.

She was preceded in death by 1 daughter:  Penny Harrison.

 

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Hillus Pardue and Bro. Roy Yoakem officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.    Visitation will be after 11:00 am Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.

Sue was my aunt, (I am the daughter of JC Anderson), and I am terribly sorry to hear of her passing. She was an incredible lady, and quite an inspiration. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Love to you all!
