Edward Marsh, 87, of Indianapolis, IN died Friday, August 17, 2012 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of RCA, a World War II U.S. Army Veteran and a Baptist. He was a son of the late Leslie K. Marsh and Etta Jewell Pulliam Marsh.
He is survived by his wife: Ruby Brown Marsh, Indianapolis, IN;
6 daughters: Ineta Cummings and husband, Jack, and Brenda Huizer and husband, Fred, all of Greenwood, IN; Claudia Stout and husband, Vern, and Carolyn Heady and husband, Les, all of Indianapolis, IN; Judy Weber and husband, Bob, Watkins, CO; Linda Stuckey and husband, Mike, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter-in-law: Nina Upton and husband, Dave, Indianapolis, IN;
3 sisters: Letha Frost, Scottsville, KY; Mildred Knight and husband, Danny, Westmoreland, TN; Mary Witkowski, CO;
2 sisters-in-law: Gladys Marsh, Adolphus, KY and Brenda Marsh, Scottsville, KY;
9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren;
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Leroy Marsh; 3 brothers: Lenard Marsh, Edgar Marsh and Charles Marsh; 3 sisters: Jewell Gammons, Nell Jones and Eurine Kendall.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Ken Goforth officiating and burial in Old Macedonia Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Old Macedonia Cemetery. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
