Kay Elvis Doering, 67, of Scottsville, KY died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at his residence. The Peoria, IL native was a retired employee of Dollar General Corporation and son of the late William Verna Doering and Virginia Margaret Campbell.
He is survived by his wife: Joanie Doering, Scottsville, KY;
2 sons: Chris Tieman and Chad Tieman, both of Arizona;
2 daughters: Kelly Doering Gardner, Scottsville, KY and Cheyenne Prince, Canada;
2 step sons: Steven Lenz, Scottsville, KY and Richard Lenz, Hiseville, KY;
1 sister: Irene Murphy, Peoria, IL; and
Several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Bill Doering.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen.
