Matilda "Tillie" Shelton, 76, of Scottsville, Ky died at 5:23 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at Commonwealth Regional Speicalty Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. The Nashville, Indiana native was a homemaker, a former employee of Scotscraft and Allen County War Memorial Hospital and attended Gloryland Gospel Church. She was wife of the late Rev. Roland C. Shelton.
She is survived by 2 sons: Steven Loy, Martinsville, In and Roland D. Shelton, La Grange, Ky;
1 daughter: Deborah King and husband, Benton, Scottsville, Ky;
1 brother: Riley Williamson, Pikeville, Ky;
9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jessie Voorhies and Dale Voorhies and 1 sister: Jesse Rardon.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:Noon Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home. |
