JoAnn Ballard, 70, of Scottsville, Ky died at 10:48 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the Cal Turner Extended Care Facility. The Adolphus, Ky native was a homemaker, former secretary for the Allen County Judge's Office and attended New CommunityFellowship Church. She was a daughter of the late Hobert Ray Phillips and Ada Alline Eaton Phillips and wife of the late Edwin Ballard.
She is survived by 1 son: Kevin D. Ballard and wife, Susan, Bowling Green, Ky;
1 brother: Jimmie Ray Phillips, Scottsville, Ky;
1 sister: Brenda Carrol Marsh, Scottsville, Ky;
4 grandchildren: Kristie Smith and husband, Caleb, Leitchfield, Ky; Daniel Ballard, Alex Ballard and Kadon Ballard, all of Bowling Green, Ky;
1 great granddaughter: Ashleah Smith, Leitchfield, Ky;
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Terry Lynn Phillips; 1 sister: Frances Mae Lundy and 1 brother: Glen Jackson Phillips.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Anderson and Bro. Ed Ferrell officiating and burial in Carter's Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Carter's Tabernacle Cemetery Fund. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
