Walter Junior Victory, 79, of Scottsville, Ky died at 3:58 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, Ky native was a retired employee of Holley Carburetor, a former employee of Marvin Wood Lumber Company, a member of Corinth General Baptist Church and a avid Pool player. He was a son of the late Lewis Walter Victory and Fenie Ellen Ross Victory and husband of the late Jo Nell Yokley Victory.
He is survived by 1 son: Bill Victory and wife, Debra, Scottsville, Ky;
3 daughters: Wanda Ziglar and husband, Brian, Naples, Fl; Peggy Kitchens and fiance', Jackie Mutter and Evelyn "Fuzzy" Simmons, all of Scottsville, Ky;
10 grandchildren: Mike Smith, Christina Jones, Niki Ali, Kathy Garrison, Jessika Victory, Miranda Victory, Jeff Kitchens, Cody Kitchens, Clyde Miller and Kolten Simmons; 13 great grandchildren and 2 unborn great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Frank and James Victory; 3 sisters: Vera Tinsley, Ardith Mae Witcher and Emma Pearl Smith.
Funeral services for Walter Junior Victory will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie Graves officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home.
